That simply was not good enough to make us proud

All I want this offseason (yeah, I'm already in offseason mode) is Tom Herman snatched away to coach USC and the Chargers to move to LA so I can stop wasting my time cheering for them.

I hate football.

Week four starts today.

I am totally a bandwagon fan when it comes to USC. I haven't watched a shit game of theirs since they lost to Alabama. In fact, I am like that about all my hometown teams.

Lakers suck? Guess I have a lot of free time.

Dodgers suck? Hell, even when they're good I wait til late October to tune in. Unless I am at a place I can hear Vin Scully's voice.

Kings? Haven't watched a puck drop since they hoisted Lord Stanley's cup. But for two weeks I knew everything there was to know about the history of the Kings going all the way back to Luc Robitaille.

That's the thing about LA natives. We know our teams. We love our teams. We just love them more when they don't suck.

We're that Alanis Morissette song, Perfect, but with sports teams instead of a child.

Although, most LA parents are like that with their kids, too.

The Chargers are not an LA team. They were for about ten minutes, but they couldn't handle not having mommie's love and ran away to San Diego. I've been to enough home games to know that nobody really loves them there either.

But I do. Passionately.

I am stupid.

Titty sprinkles!
