No sprinkles, no music today

A year ago today nine people were mowed down inside a church in Charleston, South Carolina. We took our anger out on a stupid flag. Boy were we passionate about getting rid of that stupid flag. Places stopped selling that flag. Government buildings removed the flag from buildings. Private citizens even realized that maybe they shouldn't hold that stupid flag in such high regard.

Imagine if we had been as passionate about doing something about assault weapons as we were about that stupid flag.

If we had been as passionate about doing something about assault weapons as we were about that stupid flag, maybe there would fourteen people in San Bernardino waking up to enjoy another Friday this morning.

If we had been as passionate about doing something about assault weapons as we were about that stupid flag, maybe there would be forty-nine more people dancing their asses off tonight in Orlando.

If we had been as passionate about doing something about assault weapons as we were about that stupid flag...
