It all seems so underhand

Met a guy today. Thought he was a pretty alright guy. Then I saw his not-so-subtle racist Obama bumper stickers (Don't Re-Nig) and was just sad.

Seems to be a risk I run here in the south. Meet someone, think they're cool, then find out they're, well, a racist. It doesn't happen a lot. It just happens more than I am used to. There is something to be said about less subtle racism. It keeps me from having to wonder.

The dichotomy of ugly in such a beautiful place is ... something.
I don't think I built enough record crates. In fact, I know I didn't. But they are done and tonight I will start loading them up. And figuring out how many more I still need to make.

It's funny to me that records are back en vogue again. Like skinny jeans (we pegged our own damn jeans in my day!) or Star Wars, what is old is new again.

Too bad being accepting of human beings who look or, maybe, love a little differently than you was never cool. If it had been, I would be all over that shit coming back in fashion. Whichever generation makes that a trend will be the first to do something original.

Titty sprinkles!
