Thoughts while watching the Army-Navy game

I was watching the Army-Navy game yesterday and it got me thinking about the guy/gal who is going to be their boss once they start their service. As their boss is also TGB's boss, it matters a great deal more to me than maybe to a lot of people.

I like my wife's boss. He's not frivolous with her life.

And that's what I think of when I see people praising the asshole with the bad hair, or mocking Bernie Sanders.

It's funny because, I never once thought about my boss when I wore a uniform. Mostly, that was because I was busy making inappropriate jokes about people panicking at SCUD warnings or, I was writing songs about beautiful Bosnian women.

It's different now.

I like having a man who is deliberate and measured when considering whether or not to send our men and women in uniform, our husbands and wives - my wife - off to another war.

Sure, there are lots of other reasons to vote or not vote for someone. Treating my wife, my friends, those young men on that field in Philadelphia yesterday as something more than expendable trumps outweighs a lot of those reasons.

Umm, I never said thank you.

Titty sprinkles!

I've been singing this all morning...
