the sun just hurts my eyes somewhere

I find myself getting a little nervous about Friday's gig. It's less show and more seminar and for whatever reason that is messing with my brain. I'll get over it and get on with it.

I suppose any endeavor in life involves a certain amount of trepidation to be overcome.

I don't wanna tie my shoes, they're all the way down at my feet. Get over it and get on with it.

That's a inspirational meme waiting to happen.

Twinkle, twinkle little bat
There are endeavors in life that involve so much more that a mere get over it and get on with it seems cold, out of touch.

And yet, I have heard people say as much to grieving parents, children, lovers.

Here's a hint: never tell anyone to get over it and get on with it when dealing with the death of someone they love. Grief, like love, is different for all of us. It comes in forms that may not make sense to you, but that does not in any way invalidate it. So don't be the asshole who tells someone grieving that they have to get over it.

Titty sprinkles.

Ohhhh, I forgot! Go donate to my friend's Roller Derby Fundraiser! They're trying to get from Norway to America.
