Go read Henry, dammit!

I made the mistake of setting an early morning appointment for some freelance work I'm doing. Early morning being 10 AM. I am ready for a break.

The only reason I am writing this is so my best friend will read a Henry Rollins interview. By her own logic, since I am providing a MMD I get to tell her what to read. Kris, go read Henry!

If you don't ZZ Ward, you just don't even.
I like the Michael J Fox Foundation. I didn't know about it until this morning, but it's playing into some of the freelance work I'm doing. Anyway, his foundation states right there in big, bold letters how much of every dollar goes directly to research. 89 cents, if you are wondering. Pay attention Susan G Komen.

It's a working weekend for me. Also, I am performing next Friday at a very cool thing.

I think I may be making my wife sick of all the Ben Marwood I have been playing this week. The thing is, my favorite book is The Little Prince (it's a better morality story than the Bible could ever hope to be) and there is one line in particular in one song in particular by Ben Marwood that reminds me of that book.

It occurred to me that the things that we see
Are not nearly as vital
As those we don't
- Ben Marwood

It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; What is essential is invisible to the eye.
