They're watching you

I woke up this morning and the sky was still up there. I was lead to believe that the world would end if the GOP took over the Senate. It has not.

It likely only means that even less will now get done. Two more years of wasting money to repeal the Affordable Care Act, failing, and doing little else. That's better than a poke in the eye, I guess.

Also, in the time in between those two sentences, I registered to vote in Florida. For the first time in my life I am not a Republican. I'm not a gross hippy Democrat either. I haven't gone completely insane. I went the Independent route.

I had another weird dream last night. I was on a cruise in Mexico, the country fell into the hands of the cartels while I was on a shore excursion. The ship left without me. My life became a B action-adventure movie. The upside: I got to drive my dream car.

Don't call it a jeep.
The downside: I got shot in the leg, the US Embassy wouldn't help me, and not knowing Spanish really cost me. I really should learn Spanish. I'm a bad Cuban.

Coffee beach time.
