It'll take a lifetime, old man, to undo what you've done

I'm a fisherman.

I walked into the store yesterday and said, I haven't fished since I was a kid but I want to start again since I live here and it seems to be the thing to do. I don't want to spend an arm and a leg on stuff I won't, or don't know how to use. Oh, and I would prefer not to actually catch fish.

The old man chuckled, handed me a rod and tackle box and said, this is exactly everything you'll need.

It was $40 so I was pleased, Added a fishing license, paid and walked home whistling the Andy Griffith theme.

That was some good, wholesome fun.
I spent a couple of hours fishing. Caught nothing. At one point all the fish were around me as I stood in the water casting and reeling, casting and reeling. I think they were playing tag and I was safe. The two stingrays made an appearance again. George and Gracie swam a few feet in front of me back and forth a handful of times before heading out.

All in all, I think I am going to like this fishing thing.

Coffee, beach, fishing pole time.
